Srinagar, February 03 (KNO) : Syed Ali Geelani on Saturday blamed Mehbooba Mufti for following Gobles, saying she is playing as faithful puppet and stooge for her masters in New Delhi. Mehbooba represents army and she is repeatedly telling lies to hoodwink world opinion, blamed Geelani, saying she for the lust of chair is distorting facts and following Gobles theory. She believes that parroting about false assertions and concocted theories, people will eventually come to believe it,’’ Geelani said. She is undoubtedly wrong and no one takes her serious, saying that she is being paid for her slave thinking, added Geelani. Reacting to her statement wherein she has said that AFSPA won’t go, Syed Ali Geelani said, she stands exposed, saying her rhetoric about revocation of AFSPA proved just a stunt and added that it is quite strange to justify forces for their wrongdoings and approve their most inhuman actions against civilians as they proved most brutal and undisciplined, claimed Geelani. Referring to recent innocent killings in Ganowpora Shopian, Syed Ali Geelani said this vindicates our claim and added that it is quite strange that despite cold blooded murder of five civilians, she is repeatedly praising and pleading her forces being as most disciplined. It was ironical to see Mehbooba Mufti praising forces as the saviours of Jammu and Kashmir, said Geelani. Lashing at Mehbooba Mufti for her obstinate and scarring statement, Syed Ali Geelani expressed anguish and said that lust for power turns these politicians as opportunistic, saying they don’t even feel ashamed of their false statements, deceit and deception. They are turncoats, said Geelani and added that during election campaign these pro-Indian turncoats pretend to be people friendly and soon they get to power corridors they forget what they have pledged and turn their guns towards these innocent voters. Commenting over the prevailing horrendous situations in state, Syed Ali Geelani blamed Indian forces, saying they are virtually engaged in genocide and declared war on unarmed civilians. It is ridiculous to blame civilians for uncertainty, saying since past seven decades the occupied forces are involved in killing, loot, plunder, torture, molestations and vandalising properties, Geelani said. Geelani while referring to suppressive and coercive methods employed by Indian forces and their henchmen in state, said that during forces custody thousands of people mostly youth, disappeared, staged fake encounters, arbitrarily arrested and tortured the youth, destroyed property and resorted to arson and plunder. Geelani said that in 2008, 2010 and 2016 brute forces surpassed all records of torture and atrocities. Thousands of people voiced for their political rights, however they were silenced with the military might and even school going children were mercilessly killed, he said. Blaming state politicians for prevailing mayhem, Geelani said that they are hand in glow with these killers and their masters. Geelani while rejecting the statement of Mehbooba Mufti, said that since past 27 years more than one lakh people were killed, thousands injured, ten thousand disappeared in forces custody and unknown youth are buried in seven thousand unmarked graves. The persistent turmoil and bloodshed has added more than 7000 half-widows, 22862 widows and 107676 orphans, 143048 youth were tortured in torture centres, thousands maimed, 108596 houses and shops vandalised, ten thousand women molested, Geelani said. He said that situation despite tall claims of these Delhi groomed henchmen is mournful and awful, saying since 1989, in Sopor, Kupwara, Handwara, Tengpora, Hawal, Mashali Mohalla, Chati Singhpora, Wandhama Bijbahara, Barakpora thousands of innocent people including infants and women were brutally massacred by ruthless forces and residential areas and shops razed to ground. Geelani said that all these mad killings suggest that no sane person can praise forces as the saviours of Jammu and Kashmir, saying we feel sorrow and sad over their slave mentality.(KNO)
